Why Every Brand Needs a Spokesperson

Did you know that every single day, we’re bombarded by anywhere between 3,000 to 20,000 marketing messages a day? (The range is high because the amount of messages you see a day depends on how much time you spend watching T.V., going online and various other factors that may play a role in online advertising).

It may feel daunting when you consider just how many messages you receive – and how your brand’s messages can ever stand out in this overcrowded space.

But there are other ways to make your brand stand out, show consumers why you’re unique and convince them to spend their dollars with you and that’s with a spokesperson – specifically, a well-known individual (or individuals) who consumers can trust, view as authentic and garner attention for your brand.

And that’s what PTPA Founder Sharon Vinderine does every day for countless of brands, including Lyve, Kobo and more.

Take a look at this recent video produced for the Google PixelBook and PixelPen:

So why is T.V. exposure still a good thing, in the age of the Internet, Twitter, Snapchat and more?

Well, we’re watching more T.V. than ever before, according to data from Nielsen Media Research, and amidst watching House of Cards or The Steve Harvey Show, consumers are tuned in looking for their next big buy. Bombarding viewers with T.V. advertising won’t work – that goes back to the importance of content marketing since consumers can switch the channel or close that ad if they don’t want to see it. We’re talking about getting your brand promoted, vouched for and raved about by a spokesperson families already trust.

One of our clients said it best – our extensive Twitter network (our Twitter parties generally are trending within the hour), Influencer network, and of course, the Seal of Approval, are the cake and the icing on top of the cake. And then we throw in the fact that we can get their product mentioned on hit T.V. shows that every family watches, and you’ve got the cake, the icing, and the cherry on top.

There are two reasons why clients love T.V. exposure by our founder, Sharon, and that’s because she’s a mom, first and foremost, so she builds instant credibility with other Moms and because we don’t promote just any product – the ones that get our Parent Tested Parent Approved Seal of Approval go through real testing, in real homes, by real parents (so other Moms know they’re vouched for).

Most importantly, in an era of thousands of marketing messages, it’s nice to see a face once in a while – of a mom just like you, juggling work, kids, the hubby and managing to look sane at the end of it all. And that’s why marketers know this added touch goes a long way in achieving their goals.
